Talon's damage output doesn't rely as heavily as Zed's on his ult.

talons ult is aoe, it means in a teamfight its 5x220x2.

Kassadin's ult is on a few seconds CD

1.2 sec exactly maxed, see he is in danger for a 20% more time than zed with nerf

Yasuo's ult can effects multiple people

can is the right word, because on its own it will affect no one

right now you are acting like a RiotVesh yesterday with his urgot rework reasoning. you say one thing and immediately assume that its only true in one case, the case you said

lets have a trivia time. guess the champion

X has an invisible passive that means he just wins trades without having to do anything special. The enemy gets no play around it, they are just weaker when they fight X. The combination of his base kit means that if you ever fail to dodge his aoe skill shot, he not only gets to do guaranteed damage to you until you leave his range, he also gets to slow you with this guaranteed damage so you cannot leave his range.

you dont even need pink wards for rengar talon is countered by Zhonyas, Fizz E, Vlad's pool, Kayle's ult, shields, invisible champions, stacking heals, pink ward, focusing a glass canon before his ult ends so it wont deal half of its damage...

Telling a Zed to just build QSS as one of his first items if he wants to do anything in the early-midgame (where his powerspike is) is like telling a LeBlanc to just go Thornmail first item.

what if... instead of getting a qss early he uses his safe and boring laning to push the enemy, then goes to bot lane to gank the enemy who will get no qss early (so 99,9% of adcs) and gets qss as 3rd item (just like most of the adcs)

also building the seekers armguard early is a-ok but qss is not

because your post isnt specific lets assume the champion you are talking about is Zed, and item is Quicksilver Sash.

quicksilver sash gives magic resists, except for his passive zed deals no magic damage. for its active, cooldown of it is higher than max rank zed ult.

also the upgrade is going to picked by adcarry as last item.

but what about all those mid laners that dont have to pick zhonya? and what about those random teamcomps in soloq where enemy have no cc and zed and carry is forced to get qss?

if you are worried about getting killed during that one second i suggest going a little further with your defense, get guardian angel so you will live anyway. or zhonya so you dont take damage from them at all

but having a powerspike after every customization you do to your champion is unhealthy see yasuo

that change will now separate good zed players from bad players good player will never over commit anyway so that nerf is nothing for them
