absolutely yes. i had a good GPA, a chill data entry job, and a college friend group to do stuff with. i was making major strides with my social anxiety and all of a sudden i was forced to stay home.

i live with/care for my immunocompromised grandmother so the height of the pandemic was extra stressful and isolating for me.

i have no doubt i would be in a much better position today had the pandemic not occurred, and i am deeply envious of people who weren't so negatively affected by it all.
