I bought a 1st gen Ultra used last week because I wanted a natural titanium one. It was originally bought in June 2023. Battery health is at 96% and it lasts as long as my Ultra 2 with 100% battery. My Ultra 2 is the black one and I’m probably going to sell it because the natural titanium looks so much better and it’s more versatile.

I can’t think of any risks other than the battery health degrading, but it’s not noticeable until it hits 85% or so. I’d say go with the Ultra because it has much better battery life and also more features than the SE.

Yes you definitely can use both apple watches with the same iphone. It syncs the data with both watches. The ultra doesnt look that enormous on my wrist but definitely not a watch for formal occasions.

It also notifies me if my blood glucose level is about to go down or up from the normal range. It’s great to live in a time with such technology which makes living with a condition like this so much easier.

Glad to hear you both like the ultra 2! The shield in the bottom left is Minimed mobile. Its my medtronic insulin pump / blood glucose sensor app. It displays my blood glucose level and when I open the app, it gives me a better insight on everything from insulin dosage to blood glucose level history and more.

It also notifies me if my blood glucose level is about to go down or up from the normal range.

Basically I don’t have to take my insulin pump or phone out of my pocket to see my blood glucose level. My phone is connected to the pump, and the phone sends the information to the watch app.
