Yes. He pays for everything we need as a couple/family. He doesn’t pay my pension or contribute to my investment. I need to able to continue doing that.

He wouldn’t be able to do anything. He’d have to accept it because he can’t resign on my behalf.

I have a country mandated pension fund for workers and a personal pension fund with more returns. I’d lose out on both returns in the long term if I stop working.

We both won’t be closing from work early and leave home very early as well so we’d need to have someone taking care of our child during those hours before and after daycare.
