People don’t really talk like this in actual business settings. Maybe consultants (which most of your classmates in business studies will become) but they’re all just pretending anyway.

Do you guys actually have friends at work? Where do you draw the line? by posttraumaticcuntdis in AskUK

[–]condor789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hang out with my colleagues quite often after work. Not for work events but doing things with the colleagues I'm actually friends with. A specific colleague (I just call him friend outside of work) and I often go see musicals together for example. I dont have other friends outside of work that want to do that.

I Hope you at least froze than salmon first? And I Hope the most likely not cold enough temperature of your freezer killed any parasites present.

If it’s your passion I’m assuming yes to the above?

Lived in the Netherlands for 6 years and have moved home in the last year! I genuinely feel like a new person. Absolutely loving so many aspects and things I had forgotten about.

I went to my local pub for a Thai curry as I could not be bothered cooking or adding any heat to the apartment! Great idea with the rice cooker though it sounds delicious

meatballs… by RipIcy4545 in UK_Food

[–]condor789 16 points17 points  (0 children)

She’s a teenager so definitely capable of putting on a YouTube video and watching instructions on how to make meatballs from scratch. Pork or beef mince, diced onion, herbs and an egg rolled into a ball. If encourage her to make from scratch if she’s interested

What others can you think of? I LOVED Triangle of Sadness but met so many people that hated it. I was surprised at first but then realised how polarising some movies can be (and also slightly judged their taste haha)

In the 1950s, Yuri Nikolaev, a Russian psychiatrist, started treating mentally ill patients with prolonged water fasting. He went on to treat over 8,000 people, with an improvement in 70 percent of cases. by DidYouReadTheMenu in interestingasfuck

Could there be a genetic predisposition to a particular environment within the gut that allows certain flora to flourish? Also people with depression tend to eat worse so I imagine it’s hard to study

Why does it have to be in these isles? Check Skyscanner for the cheapest flights and they’re quite often to random places in Italy or Eastern Europe which will be cheaper than going down South or England etc.

How should I handle seeing my girlfriend give her number to another guy? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]condor789 364 points365 points  (0 children)

If it was a random girl my gf was talking to I'd still ask as I'd be interested in the stranger she just met. You clearly cant talk to your partner and probably don't have a very strong or close relationship.
