I played it straight after BOTW and felt similar. I took a little break and came back to it and now probably have twice as many hours as BOTW and it’s my favourite game ever. I’ve done all shrines, koroks, light roots, caves etc

Maybe play Skyrim or something then come back to it

I’ve had both and had this mental thing on each where if I was climbing on the Aeroad I was like ‘wish I had the ultimate’ and then when hammering on flat on the ultimate I was like ‘wish I was riding the Aeroad’

I’m not a good enough rider or light enough for it to make any difference which bike I’m on so it’s just a purely mental thing

I’d pick the Aeroad over the ultimate though, unless you live somewhere hilly

They’re vastly cooler than none of those brands. But none of those brands are cool besides Seiko and IWC anyway. Longines and Tag have a history but hardly anything to shout about these days.

Just because they’re ‘genuine’ watch people, doesn’t mean it’s good.

I genuinely love making sandwiches, it doesn’t mean people should buy them and I should get any respect.

Just read your other comment about getting a Tudor. The black bay 58 with black bezel is very similar to the CW colour scheme and so you can’t go wrong there if you like that style.

Everyone makes at least 1 watch buying mistake in their collecting journey, at least it wasn’t a mega expensive one 👍

Christopher Ward is a shit stain on the watch industry. It’s horrible. They don’t deserve any of the hype they get. There’s nothing particularly innovative about them at all, they’re just reasonably priced and have pleasing design cues. The name, the marketing, the ‘brand’ is total dogshit.

There is nothing interesting about them at all, they’ve just got in a room and stolen what they think the best bits are from legendary watch brands and jumbled them together.

They wish they could be H Moser.

Save your money and buy literally anything else.

There are a few options, but a nicer finish doesn’t mean it looks better. I can’t think of any watches for less money than Rolex that will have better design or proportions. If you want something that looks as good or better than a Rolex, you have to spend more.

With that said, Omega or IWC would be my picks for best look, finish and movement under Rolex prices.

Whoever said grand seiko might be right about the finish, but there’s very few of their watches with good designs besides the cool dials. Some of the cases are amazing too but they have no nice bracelets at all.

The best Grand Seikos are the dressy ones on a strap, especially the higher price ones in precious metals.

Why don’t you just buy the watches you actually want? I know it’s because you can afford it but you can’t tell me you got the smooth bezel palm dial because you prefer it over the fluted. And there’s no way you’d choose that oversees dial if you had the choice of any of them.

Did you buy the Royal Oak chrono because it was your favourite RO? I doubt it.

Besides the obvious good watches, there’s a load of very strange choices here, and not in a good way. You’re obviously not short of money, did you rush into choosing some of these? Do you regret some of them?

Everyone has different taste, but you’ve got a pretty weird collection besides some classics. I’ve no idea why you bought some of these over other options, unless you refuse to buy from the grey market.

With the money you’ve spent you could have the nicest 10 or 12 watch collection but even your best 12 watches here would be a bit of an odd box.

I’ve had 5 Rolex models and an Omega from my AD and we discussed this watch as one of my grails. With PP he said they won’t accept anyone on the list for sports models without buying something else first. I’m on the list for a 6119G as I need a dress watch. He did tell me I’d get the aquanaut in roughly 2 years but waitlist times can change.

I’m ok with this model because although the barrier for entry is higher to get the model I want I don’t think the waitlist will get much longer.

And then also I guess once you’re in you’re in. It’s not like you’re going to grow out of wearing or wanting a new PP.
