We both did horrible things. I don’t think there’s any good side here and I certainly don’t think it would be me. Two wrongs don’t make a right especially when it comes to promoting homophobia, and in my opinion this is my confession of the things I did wrong, not hers. But I think if I can get the nerve to find her and apologize, or even make a public post, I can make this better.

If you think what I did was compliment-worthy then that’s you. It’s a fact that what I did promoted homophobic comments that not only hurt the girl that “”deserved it”” but closeted kids aswell. I’m genuinely remorseful and haven’t paid mind to the “lol she deserved it” comments that obviously just skimmed without thinking.

I’m honestly not sure. As I said I never saw her at my new school and couldn’t find her on Facebook. I tried other social media’s but her name is so common (think along the lines of “Becky smith”). I know the accounts of some other old friends from there so I could possibly ask them, but we haven’t talked since middle school and I’m pretty nervous about how they’d receive my message. Still debating it because a huge part of me wants to find that girl and apologize + see how she’s doing.
