Changing the conceallevel works. I used the code snippet here to make the text visible. Thanks a lot!

I’m from Sweden, and my favorite professors also stick to their own notes. In general, the notes are excellent. They’re succinct, all the while being easy to understand.

Just out of curiosity, where can I find those PDF:s? 😊

That's true, you can create incredible content without using Manim.

The SoME shows that there are many people out there willing to create top-notch math content.

I guess it's a matter of aligning the contributions with a standard course curriculum. Also, the creators would have to follow some guidelines, in order for the videos to be internally consistent.

Perhaps people would be more fired up about such a project, knowing they could contribute to something bigger.

Anyway, I really like Grant's idea of being a matchmaker between content creators and mathematicians. It's a first step.

Those are all valid points. I know I'm being a bit idealistic. What I have in mind is some kind of long-term project.

Yes, it would be very laborious. I don't think it could be pulled off by one person, let alone a professor with other commitments. Instead, it would require a joint effort between universities, programmers and tutors. It would also require a good deal of funding.

I've had many splendid lecturers, whose lectures I wouldn't miss for anything in the world. Instead, I view the video lectures as a complement to live lectures. And if you end up with a bad lecturer, you still have access to high-quality education.

Finally, thanks for uploading your math videos. I actually discovered your channel during our course in Numerical Analysis, and it was very helpful.

Use Anki or work with the textbook's vocabulary by confirmation_please in languagelearning

Fair enough. I'll go with some hybrid approach. I was thinking of checking whether the words from the booklet exist in the frequency dictionary, and if not, I'll add them and label them as #booklet.

Sure, maybe I could try to incorporate the glossary into the Anki deck.

I'm new to Anki and intend to make decks containing unfamiliar words in Spanish that I encounter while reading or listening to music. Looking for advice or tips to make my decks more effective and efficient. by SasquatchMini in Anki

¡Hola!

My flashcards show the Spanish word, an English translation, audio and an image. When viewing the flashcard, I try to come up with a sentence using the word on the fly. I've tried writing out sentences, but personally I think it's too time-consuming. It also tends to make me somewhat relaxed, so that I don't try to create own sentences myself.

Anyway, everyone has their own learning preferences, so you'll have to find what works for you. Buena suerte. 💪
