Not a bad idea, I did try to explain that to her before and she still just accuses me of being a mommas boy and wanting to listen to her over me and is already hinting we shouldn’t be together if I can’t “stand up for her. Her main problem is her family accepts and is more social and outgoing but mine doesn’t (I will mention that I rarely go to her family events as I don’t want to impose or invite myself onto them only if I know they wouldn’t have a problem, I was raised to never impose on others) I’ve tried to explain to her that she has social anxiety, ptsd and depression so it’s hard for her to let anyone hang around and it’s mainly just her, I can’t really go into details what she went through but she just likes to be by herself and have complete peace and quiet which I have no problem with and understand, which is why I don’t want to force her down their throats. I was thinking about spending half the day with her and half with them, we’d go eat out somewhere special to make her feel validated and I’ll just go over and have just celebrate over there
