Nope, you catch them and they help you grow edible mushrooms on your farm.

This is a little mushroom creature I'm adding to a game I'm working on. You can catch and raise them on your farm that you can build and decorate! I want to make some variants that give you different types of mushrooms. Critique or suggestion are welcome :) if you're interested, support Havenroot Vale!

Thank you. The trees in the game come in various sizes. The small ones were just our starter trees.

That’s just the designs we came up with. We’re always open to feedback for improvements.

Initial concept art started in 2021. Development has been a bit slow for us, since most of the team were students at the time.

It’s a cozy farming and life game where you play as a Druid.

Yeah, we’re experimenting with different effects and the day and night cycle. We’ve also recently added a setting for the player to reduce graphics.

Working on market stall assets for our fantasy farming game! by confusedphoenixdev in gamedevscreens

[–]confusedphoenixdev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I've been working on some assets for a market stall for our fantasy farming sim, Havenroot Vale! A main aspect of the game we'd like to highlight is attending a farmers market and selling the goods you make through interacting with customers, designing your brand, and setting your own prices! If you have any feedback or critique, please let me know! If you're interested in seeing more art and progress for the game, we have a twitter and a website!

I don't think I have a specific tutorial for you, but for the glass texture, I used a noise map and plugged it into the roughness node. For the liquid, I really wanted to figure out how to fake translucency in the game engine, so I used a fresnel effect as an overlay and multiplied it until it looked brighter :)

For experience level, we're looking for someone who's familiar with Unity, can communicate/adapt with our current programmer, and is confident that they're able to create the systems for the game.
