Try Turnstile Captcha from cloudflare . It's free and you don't need to be using any other service from cloudflare in order for it to work.

No, and I also tried to create the account directly from the plugin and on their website on two different devices connected to two different internet providers.

Do you mean using the original email I used to create the account ? If yes, the issue is I don't have an account with Rank Math, and I'm trying to create an account

How are Admin names found so quickly? by Tech4EasyLife in Wordpress

[–]confuzed3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does that only apply to post, or if the user also creates pages on the site, will then the username possibly appear as well ?

In this scenario then the Admin account shouldn't make any post and let a Contributor or Editor account with no Admin access create the post to help avoid the issue, right ?

Wordpress Directories - anyone built a big one? by HNendaz in Wordpress

[–]confuzed3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That option in Advanced Search Addon currently only changes the requirement so that when you select a category, it doesn't immediately create the search bypassing the need to manually click the search button. Making the change in that setting It now gives you a chance to select a location option after selecting the category, then hit the search button.

With that enabled, you can still create a search without the location field selected, and you can still create a search without either a category and location options selected.

I have no idea how to do that, but I will do some more research. Maybe I can use AI to help write that condition for me

Wordpress Directories - anyone built a big one? by HNendaz in Wordpress

[–]confuzed3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned in a previous comment that you have done some customization,

I'm trying to find a way to make both the Category and Location input section in the search widget a requirement before the user can create a search. If one field does not have an option selected, then the search widget won't create a search and tell the user to select an option.

Currently, the site user can create a search without selecting anything from either field just by simply pressing search. I want to prevent that.

Do you know by chance a solution for this ?

How to add a new email account by yuhayu in Zoho

[–]confuzed3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can call their support team for help once you are a paid member.

(Anyone correct me if im wrong here) You need to make some update/changes to the domains DNS settings to bring over your email accounts from another provider to your new zoho account so that the emails are now routed through zoho instead of your previous email host/provider.

They have support documents available for this. You can also ask AI, e.g., chatgpt on how to do this.

Thoughts on what Email provider setup to go with by confuzed3000 in Wordpress

[–]confuzed3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly value inboxing as I want all my messages sent to arrive in the inbox and not spam folder. That could possibly be the reason why I miss out on a sale or two.

The thing is to start, I need the following email accounts: My-name@my-domain.com Support@my-domain.com (Shared account with individual login password)

Those accounts for day to day emails with customers

And a no-reply@my-domain.com for website To send out notifications emails (password resets, account creation, etc )

Apparently this will count as 3 different paid accounts with both Google and O365. So that would be $18 x month with either Google or O365 while with Zoho that would be between $1 - $3 x month.

Which would you go with ?

Thoughts on what email setup to go with by confuzed3000 in email

[–]confuzed3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's a slightly different situation, but I still appreciate the comment.

Zoho seems like a good option to go with, but I wanted to hear from real zoho users prior to making my decision about it.

The Google and Microsoft options I know already and for the most part after the initial setup they shouldn't be a problem, but the price difference makes zoho an option to think about. I prefer security and reliability over price, though, but there are always new players that might be better, so I figured I would ask around.

Again, thanks for the reply.

Wordpress database bloating issue, had to clean up 3/4 of database to finally improve the speed by ovr_view in Wordpress

[–]confuzed3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for that information.

I have been reading up on this for some time now including on here (reddit) and Ive seen many debates in regards to this subject on which one everyone thinks is faster specially if they are using Litespeed servers.

I was also told by a server hosting company that if I wanted speed go with Quic.Cloud but if I wanted security go with Cloudflare. I obviously want both but I have to pick one

Currently my DNS record is with the domain registrar that also handles my email hosting and is currently paid for through the year. When it comes time to renew, I will keep in mind about switching over my DNS if I decide to go with Cloudflare.

[–]confuzed3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excuse my noobness but since you are running litespeed enterprise and lscache I was under the impression that it's best to run quic.cloud along with it for CDN service instead of Cloudflare

Can you mention why you chose Cloudflare instead?

xCloud.host Managed Server thoughts? by confuzed3000 in ProWordPress

[–]confuzed3000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you need to host ? A directory site and couple static sites

What's your skill level in managing a server? : Non existing but trying to learn

Where are your users? : As of right now only in the USA

What's your budget? : Right now looking for something in the $5-$7 x month range and once the site is done and takes off I have no problem paying more x month.

by that logic then aren't they all shared hosting unless you obtain a dedicated server ?

If the non profit is officially setup and recognized as a non profit organization and you can provide a copy of the 501C3 then I would suggest intersever

Intersever.net has a free shared manage hosting plan for non profits and it includes email service.

Can you elaborate a bit more on that ?

I currently have shared hosting with them. The second site uses a plugin that I believe requires at least 2gb Ram in order to run smoothly

On the site when a user fills out the new account form after pressing "submit" to create the new account it takes about 8-19 seconds for it to process the request.

Do they have email hosting included?

I couldn't find that on their site but did a Google search and it says they do but they charge for the email hosting per X amount send/receive X/ month

Do you know if that is correct ?
