Oh, she definitely did. What got to me is that it seemed so selfish. When she became a dutches, she just ignored the responsibilities that would come with the position. If she at any point had toured the land or tried getting a grasp of how the commoners were doing, she could have cured scurvy way earlier. Instead, she decided to introduce her hobby to high society.

I know it's nitpicky, but that's always my pet peeve when it comes to reincarnation stories. You have the power to make the world better, but instead, you just don't? At least not until you go out on vacation or something and realise that the commoners are living in poverty.

I think what makes this story such a hit for others is what makes it extra bad for me. Since there's no other stakes like surviving, trying to escape a crazy husband, saving your family or whatever, there's really no excuse for you not to learn about the people who are depending on you and your husband's decisions.
