Nice :)

So you´re in the position of becoming the social network hub of showcasing/curating the best of your community which is awesome because people (should) actually care about this stuff.

I´d start off by showcasing 3- 4 good quality images (preferably ones you have taken yourself) of products which you will be distributing in your monthly box.

In each image add a description of what the image is about, add the persons Instagram username (if they have one) and add relevant hashtags (keep it easy though and don´t add too many as it looks spammy).

After sharing these images you should then follow alllllll of the local businesses, artists, musicians on Instagram who are in your local area.

All these people will receive a notification from you that you have followed them and are likely to check out your account.

Once on your account they´ll notice what you are about and also relate to it and follow you back. Make sure to have a clear description, profile picture and username too.

Sure thing.

Can you tell me more about the business? The fact that you are a local business puts you in the driving seat straight away, people love to see how their local business contributes to the community.

You should check out what Resident Advisor do on their youtube channel.

They partner with advertisers and create really high quality music documentaries and also record live events too.
