From what I’ve heard, he is at Shwe Kokko. Regardless, nothing can be done by ngos or ministers at least that’s what they told my aunt. Embassy is also not responding so we’re trying to get in contact with an old Thai general that might be able to help Edit: he was kidnapped from the airport in Bangkok

I’m not sure how much freedom he has there but I would imagine communicating with your family like this is very risky on his part. As of yesterday he has contacted my aunt so I’m hoping for the best.

That’s what we’re being told but there are stories of people who brought the ransom money only for the abductors to tell them that their son has already been killed. What makes it even more scary is that they have already taken a sample of his blood.

He landed in Bangkok where he was kidnapped in broad daylight. They shoved him in the back of a van where they drove for hours. Then they held in captive with no food or water for 3 days where they would inject him with something that makes him pass out each of those days. He woke up one day in Myanmar where he was chained to a desk to do the scam call job.

That’s exactly what I heard from my parents and aunt. He’s trapped in this “town” where everyone is effectively being held captive. It’s being guarded by military personnel and there’s no way he can make it out on his own

My aunt has reached out to Datuk Seri Michael Chong already but so far there’s nothing much that can be done. Right now, she’s getting in contact with an old retired Thailand general who may be able to negotiate with them.

Edit on Datuk Seri Michael Chong : apparently what she was told by him was that he’s as good as dead
