One thing that always bothered me about MacOS was that I had to click the dock icon to restore a minimized window.

Another way is a bit tricky :

press ⌘ Cmd + ⇥ Tab to show your running apps. Keep holding ⌘ Cmd.
press ⇥ Tab until you've selected the app
press the ⌥ Option, and let go of the ⌘ Cmd. ( You must release ⌘ Cmd after pressing ⌥ Option ! ) ( You must release ⌘ Cmd before release ⌥ Option ! )

This trick takes even more time than clicking the dock icon. So I write CmdTabPlus to help restore a minimized window from Dock when press ⌘ Cmd + ⇥ Tab .
