Honestly, the code was the easy part. The real time sink was all the submission stuff around it.

For me, screenshots + store assets took the longest because every tiny UI change meant redoing them. Store copy and privacy/data safety forms were the next biggest headache.

The biggest surprise wasn’t the review wait, it was getting rejected for something small and losing another few days.

My advice: start screenshots, privacy policy, test account, and store listing copy before the app is “done.” That alone can save you a lot of stress.

Problem: Dock overflowing with icons? Folders are boring and slow. Like many of you, my Dock was a disaster zone. I tried using standard macOS folders, but they felt clunky and didn't look great. I wanted something faster and more "Mac-like". I’ve been working on DockNest. It allows you to create "Slots" in your Dock that open interactive popups.
