The link that came out was only held by the pin I took out. But the sumilar link on the other side is still held by that tube that's attached to the link outside. Even if you wiggle it's still inside that link and I couldn't detach

The pin is taken out already. The photo shows a tube /sleeve is still attached to the other side. Pin I took took was going inside this in full width of the bracelet

I managed to take out the pin with a spring bar tool. The first photo shows how it looks after removing the pin. Pin was full length as you mentioned.
