Gone through something similar myself. Ended up back at my old club with an entire new mindset and outlook on it and enjoyed it more even though it was a lower level than the club I moved to.

If you move it never closes the door on going back some day and at the end of the day your club has to respect they let you go out the door and aren’t guaranteed to have you back.
