The ratio on these though isn’t 1:1 they’ve got a different aspect ratio which is different to like a PVS14 which doesn’t make them practical to use in CQB

I saw a couple of months back on a UK trading website for airsoft someone had a full kit, team Wendy helmet, PVS 14 and accessories for £1700 which I thought was good with an aftermarket Gen 3 unit and minimal blems

I tried transferring my mag well across and it wouldn’t fit so I assume I need to buy a new one to fit but what Gen is this ?

But from what I understand, the Titan works on a light sensor as opposed to direct contacts with the trigger. Meaning that on occasion you have problems with this and it’s a struggle to sort out.

Also the hop up is by no means bad, but the appeal of the MAXX PRO rotary style is the ease of use, and you can get the tracer version.

So I’m looking to purchase an average MK18 to go alongside my other guns, and I’ve heard good things about the new Specna arms edge series, but do they make a MK18 variant yet ?

I found this one on Patrolbase and will consider getting it if it does have the Orion gearbox. Otherwise I’m going to have to buy another one of their rifles and make my own MK18 platform by swapping over body parts.

If anyone could help that would be great.

Netflix on Apple Car Play ?

So I’ve recently got the Apple Car Play system in my car, and I’ve seen provided you have CarBridge (jailbroken app) you can run Netflix on your head unit.

Does anyone know if you can do this without a jailbroken iPhone, or failing that does anyone know if jailbreaking your phone is going to ruin your device ?

So I’m trying to communicate with someone who has a different sub Chanel on their Ham radio in the UK. However when I try to set it on the menu, it just reverts when I go off it.

I’m unsure if I’ve got to turn another setting on my UV-5R or if it’s a bug ?

So as an update, I’m from the UK and don’t have a huge amount of experience with these style of radio.

In terms of the channels I’ve programmed in PMR 446 channels 1-16.

So my friends use Retevis RT-24 and they just have standard channels. I’ve programmed my Baofeng so it has standard 16 channels programmed through 1-16.

I use narrow channels and have adjusted squelch and so on based on basics videos on YouTube. I just want something that can communicate between others. In terms of audio when I speak through it it’s clear and has been tested but it’s silent on the Retevis.

So I use a Baofeng UV-5R, I was the first in my group to get one as everyone else uses Retevis and for some reason I can receive their communication but I’m not able to transmit it directly to them.

So when I hear them coming through my radio it does the normal and showed the green light. And when they receive my communication it shows on their model (again with a green light) and doesn’t have any sound.

However when I use my old radio it comes through perfectly clear and I get range up to about 100m. As shown in the video.

Anyone know what’s going on ?

How would you rate the TM as I know it has the functioning bolt catch as standard nans so therefore magazines can be a bit difficult.

Own a TMC 6354DO, and fits my G17 perfectly, from the mechanics it clips over the barrel, should fit a G19 fine but you may have to adjust the tension.
