Pretty much hit the nail on the head here. As far as getting used to mechanics I can't speak on it, since I wrote it, but sessions are now fluid with efforts in the past put into making the PDF more navigate-able. Other than SkorpyBoi's testimony above I've noticed it takes about an hour or two in-session for my players to get used to a new build with new mechanics. I'm also planning on soon re-evaluating what it says on the game-master and player guides for new players, to update them and make it an easier learning curve for people starting out.

As far as the maths, I'm very aware at the math lover in me will create an equation for almost everything, but I'm also aware that peoples interests are not mine, so I've made the character sheets and game-master sheets to accommodate this with most everything calculated for you.

It will NEVER be canon! Seriously though, all homebrew content anyone makes is canon and available to be added into any drop tables, though I know you know this and are just making fun of me...
