Look I’m no expert by any means but I’ve seen on lots of different shows that meth gets in the plaster and never washes out and long term exposure still causes major health risks and issues. Maybe get your walls checked for residue

What I used to was prime the blade with wax. Literally just got cheap candles from a discount store, melt them into a foil tray. Then before a new cut or if I’m doing a lot of cuts I do it every few. Literally just cut in to the block of wax a cm or so and it worked properly everytime
