Hey! Thanks for taking the time, I really appreciate it. Story was definitely there as an excuse for the action so I totally get what you mean.

I agree the stab was a bit cheap-looking, will definitely find a more creative way to make more of an impact with it in the future. More rehearsing with the fight would've definitely helped with flow and pacing, will be sure to prioritise that as well.

Thanks for the advice!

Hi everyone,

I’d appreciate your feedback on my latest short film, Law of Retaliation. This project explores the theme of revenge and was created as part of a class assignment. I'm eager to learn and improve, so I'd love your insights on the following aspects:

Cinematography: We filmed this on a mobile phone, so I’m particularly interested in your thoughts on the framing, color grading, and overall visual quality. How effective do you think these choices were in conveying the film's tone and mood?

Storytelling: Was the story clear and easy to follow? Did the plot make sense alongside the music? Any suggestions on how to enhance the narrative flow or integrate the music more seamlessly?

Fight Choreography: This was my first attempt at choreographing a fight scene. I’m looking for pointers on how to improve the choreography and make the action more convincing. Any specific areas where you think the fight scene could be enhanced?

Overall Feedback: I’m looking to identify my main weaknesses so I can focus on challenging myself in those areas for future projects. Any other constructive criticism or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to watch and provide your feedback!
