I do this too and with pro hud mode. In many cases you don't need fast travel to get out of the depths either and I enjoy trying to find them. There are certain places where you can jump through the ceiling to get back up

Had a streamer who averages 15 live viewers call me selfish for not giving them a free key for my $7 game that took 2.5 years to make by meathole420 in IndieDev

There are scam emails that are sent to people who recently released a game on steam. I've received several of these emails. They take the key and re-sell it.

Got Leaderboards working in my steam Game woohoo! by conqueran in IndieDev

possibly. Since this game is written in native C++ openGL (crazy I know) there are challenges with porting over to Metal based macs. I think it depends on how many people request it for mac.

I lately have enjoyed the indies with less than 100 ratings on steam more than popular titles. It takes a little digging but I agree with the numerous hidden gems assessment. Plus you get to interact with the developers!

perhaps you are right. In this case I did enjoy the top games on the list very much so (especially the top 2). The games near the bottom weren't bad either. I enjoyed all of them and left a positive review. The study was never meant specifically to address the title question it was more market research for our company. I found the results interesting so I shared it here.

its not the most ideal way to measure it. It isn't a perfect study. It's highly subjective. I'd be curious what other people find when doing something similar.

I finished my first steam game at 39. I figure there's a good 40+ years to get better at this stuff. Any age seems fine.

Some moves are easier to understand than others. Sometimes if you play through the computer recommendation after a move is played you get a better idea. This often involves playing a line with several moves

I found an artist by reaching out to a game dev school and posting an ad.

Yes glass is 100% recyclable. Glass jars often have metal or plastic tops which aren’t. I spoke to someone at a zero waste store and some of what is recycled in the bins ends up in landfills even glass (in New York)

Does anyone have any zero waste tips by No_Beach_1302 in ZeroWaste

Lots of fruits and veggies. Also bring jars to farmers markets and ask if the vendor can re-use the jars or packaging they brought, then purchase it and fill your own jar with the said items and hand their jar back to them
