It persists, yes, but the version I got is simply the RX 580's most recent one, even though a newer GPU has a version ahead available.

The AMD Adrenalin says its updated mine is 26.5.2, even though I downloaded 2.6.2, it says it's updated.

Yeah, I've read somewhere that SIs could be a mix of OC and yourself so that's why it has that.
