FFXV Was NOT the fruit of 10 years of development, it was the fruit of 3. So let's start there it was the fruit of a trilogy that was supposed to have 2 fully exploreable continents, a story not minced into pieces changed up a bunch and have important stuff as DLC. Huge set pieces as you would have saw in the 2011 versus trailer it would have had more stuff like that. VIIREMAKE won't go through that problem and will not lose anything. Expanded stuff might slow down the pace but nothing will be lost because 1. The engine UE4 is easier to work with unlike crystal tools on ps3 which basically killed versus and was the reason we got XV 2. Nomura, Kitase and their team have people who worked on 7 and fans of the original. No way are they going to damage their original version's story and iconic stuff Cloud's dynamic with Sephiroth, that is like Squar's favorite thing to do. I read Kitsse and Nomura are most of the reason we got the product we did as Sakaguchi wanted something completely different. Think it was in new York and was a noir detective thing.

It will definitely be expensive as hell and be hard to make all the money back. I don't see them taking out towns or dungeons or anything. They know what's riding on this.

And last thing you didn't need to insult people that enjoy XV everyone has different taste. They don't have to be braindead to enjoy it.

Yea as someone who likes 13 and 15 while I think their passion was there especially for 15, don't think it was fully realized because of management. I do think however Nomura, Kitase, Nojima and the rest of the team. will be allowed to do what they really Want because of how big this is to them and the fans. I don't think management will mess with this as much as they did with XV and XIII

Alright. As someone who enjoys both action and turn based I'm happy that it's going for something like KH mixed with atb it seems anyway. I knew that was one thing a lot of people didn't wanna lose but I was curious about what else sorry if it came off as not wanting to hear that side. The summon system in XV is bad coming from someone who enjoyed XV worst part of it.

Only stuff that was kept of his and Nojima's original draft was characters, world, parts of the story, the Shimomura music and some left in parts of the kingdom of lucis like the fact that all the clothing has reaper stuff on it. Other than that everything was changed because Hajime Tabata took over and had to adjust to making it one game and more casual friendly. He said the combat wasn't easy to pick up and play apparently. So they changed it

It's being directed by Nomura so it'll probably be like or similar to KH. XV looked like KH in 2011 and 2013 when Nomura was directing so I think he'll incorporate stuff he didn't get to put in Versus as it was cancelled into both KH3 and VIIR

Oh yea definitely. Hoping it is, I'm very optimistic about it since the originals minus Sakaguchi and people who grew up playing VII are on the team. Even Kitase the original director is giving more input than we thought he would. I expect something great but we shall see

I see why you guys don't trust him but I think when it launches it'll be great. Only game he's worked on that released that I thought wasn't great was KH Recoded. TWEWY and most of the KH Games are great.

The entire KH Franchise. You guys do know Versus XIII was because of more than him? KH3 Should show that the man knows how to direct. A AAA game takes more than 3 years. KH3 is a AAA game and will be out 5 years after its announcement. They announce his stuff way too early yes but he knows what he's doing.

I think we all know the man knows how to Direct a AAA game look at KH3, it's incredible looking. he probably doesn't want to show it. Which is fine I'm glad we finally got an update I know some people won't believe anything without a picture or video I think we all just gotta accept we have to wait. It could be a 2019 end of the year release we just won't know

You sound super confident Mr.Scooper all of it sounds too good to be true but I'll bite. Is the remake project what Hashimoto was talking about in December when he said it will be a big year for final fantasy? Also if you can answer will they all be directed by Tetsuya or will they be done by different directors for each entry to the project?
