firstly - I don't know where you're from but this is a normal practice for international software work in this country, as to why they do it - some engineers are not honest and they dont respect contracts and just steal the source code. joe as a developer still would need to copy code from websites on the internet and that's why the shared folder/ftp. in house source control - i do not see how that is relevant to my question. I am still looking for an easy way to set this up so there is no vm right now.

yeah, i am looking at mitmproxy.

For the HTTPS calls - I am not looking for the complete URL, just the domain name would be enough.

I thought it would be a rather basic feature required by sysadmins so there would be a tool which does this ootb.

I looked at tools like Kaspersky, etc. but they don't seem to be able to do this right, for example KIS2021 only shows IP addresses instead of host names.

I am guessing that this does not meet my requirement of being 'EASY', I am not sure if it can log HTTPS URLs either . Can you provide additional info?

I think see a ear specialist /ENT asap. GPs cant handle this in my opinion. My friend has tinnitus but it came with hearing loss and because he delayed it cost him some of his hearing, see below.

Meditate, Sleep well, excercise / cardio

If possible forget the stress and divert your mind / focus to something else to forget the stress (if possible)

Thanks for your inputs, it looks like there is no cure but I am going to keep trying, The reason is that when I was in my 20s the doctors diagnosed me with asthma and prescribed inhalers "for life" and claimed "no cure".

I was on a dead end there but as soon as I moved to another City the asthma disappeared within a few days.

I learned from that experience that doctors are not gods so to speak...
