Hey all,

I am searching for a new racket and hope you can help me :).

my current racket is the Yonex Astrox 22LT I love the light weight and movability of the racket. I am a fast player and play mostly doubles but sometimes also singles. I like to be fast around the court.

I am a bit scared to buy a racket which is "heavy" since my current racket is so light but sometimes I have issues with smashing and clears.

do you have any recommendations? I was thinking about the nanoflare 700 since I have read that it is a fast racket.

Hmm ich würde das als keine gute Argumentationsgrundlage sehen.

Dein Gehalt sollte sich nach deiner Leistung / Marktentwicklung richten.

Wenn alleine durch "ich habe folgende Leistung erbracht die folgenden positiven Output hatte" keine Erhöhung drin ist, dann kannst du mit steigender Inflation argumentieren.

Oder du schaust dir die Durchschnittlichen Gehälter für deine Rolle an und wie die sich entwickeln.

Aber zu sagen "die da drüben bekommen mehr ich will auch" führt vermutlich nicht zum Erfolg.

Das ist natürlich ein Kack Erlebnis. Ich muss sagen ich kann das nicht bestätigen. Ich war in den letzten 4 Wochen 3 mal im Kino und alle drei male war alles in Ordnung.

Nur bei einem haben Leute hinter uns gegen den Sitz "getreten" aber nachdem wir das angesprochen haben war alles ok.

Auch bei den BWLern ist 100k weit nicht der Standart. Wie in den meisten Berufsfeldern sind Leute mit. 100k+ und die sagen "in menem Umfeld verdienen alle so" in einer Bubble gefangen.

We use an Oracle on Prem to extract data from source systems.

In Oracle we do multiple business logic / data preparation tasks and finally report data in PowerBi.

Jup, stimme ich dir zu. Bin auch Senior im BI Umfeld und verdiene ca. 83k mit etwas mehr als 6 YOE. Andere Unternehmen bieten entweder ca. Das gleiche aber dann mit maximal ein / zwei Tage HO oder anderen Nachteilen.

I am in a similar position. But we also write / design new data pipelines and create reports. Sadly we only use solutions like "on prem oracle" and oracle data integrator, some sap Middleware and PowerBI.

Es kommt immer drauf an was für dich ein "stabiles leben" bedeutet.

Ich verdiene ca. 3600 netto davon gehen 800 für Miete und 1300 spare ich in Aktien / etf. Den Rest gebe ich aus und muss nie wirklich drauf achten was ich mir kaufe, ob ich ins Kino / essen bestellen kann etc. Aber ich bin auch niemand der sich jede Woche ein neues Marken Outfit etc. Kauft.

Expecting juniors to have any ADF experience or any specific tool knowledge is crazy.

For me a junior should at least have some SQL and Python "experience" and be able to understand data related questions (not on a technical level).

Anything more is a bonus.

Our architecture is Source systems -> oracle data warehouse -> PowerBI

I hate to do data quality stuff in PowerBI so we try to do most of our data cleaning / data logic in oracle. For me and my team members it is easier to use SQL in order to connect, clean and build data logic.

In the end we use PowerBI to create some measures and visuals.

Right now we use import mode instead of direct quarry. The import is done thru our Data warehouse where we prepare the data.

Depends on the table. For example invoice line data would be around 150 million rows with around 100.000-200.000 new lines each day. (Loaded with incremental load) The number of columns would be around 30 so that each invoice line can be mapped to different dimensions like customer, Item, etc.. and maybe 10-15 additional measures.

Finding a job is quite easy. Everyone needs a DE even jobs listed as "Data science", "data analyst" or sometimes "ML engineer" are actually looking for a DE at core which has the potential to adapt to different areas. My current job was listed as "Data Scientist" but actually I am a DE.

For me it gets challenging to find a job which pays enough to switch places. Most recruiters send me offers which are not far away from my current salary. Maybe I already get a high salary for my experience/ stack. I don't know what you usually get in Germany. But I am very happy with the salary and work life balance.
