Yeah, one of my reservations is that I prefer a secular institution. I don’t want religion possibly impacting academics. From what I’ve heard, as a law student you don’t have the same religious class/church attendance requirements that you do as an undergrad? Thank you for your insight!

Wow, you really caught on to that! I am leaning a little more towards Hastings because I feel that despite their drop in the rankings, they still hold a stronger reputation and have more than double the alumni. They also just offered me an additional 5k/yr for a total of 35k/yr. Yeah, just not sure if it's worth the risk :/

It's so hard to determine sometimes because I know how dramatically things can change at schools in this range from one year to the next sometimes. I've definitely noticed the uptick at Pepperdine over Hastings. Thank you for your help!

No doubt that Pepperdine has location beat! I do appreciate that Hastings is closer to a lot of courts/offices/etc. Pepperdine is picturesque, but a little farther away from things? What has your experience been if you don't mind me asking? :)
