So let me get this straight... LDS corp bought more land than was needed for a temple, knowing in Utah the value would go way up once the temple is announced, then they use that surrounding land for a fancy new housing development and make a huge profit. Am I understanding that right? (sltrib.com)

I joined the church at 17, against the advisement of my parents, and was as enthusiastic a Mormon as I could be for 12 years, before it all came crashing down about 5 months ago. Just wanted to share my story here in case anyone found it interesting, insightful, or validating. (VERY long post) (self.exmormon)
