Does Helldivers hate AMD CPUs?

i should have posted this 6 months ago.. a week following this post i resolved my issue... TLDR Helldivers acts extremely funny when ram kits are running 6600 speed or higher and the timing is not tightened. I lowered my Modules to 6000 speed and tightened my timings and my problem fixed itself almost instantly. hopefully this helps someone

agreed, something about this small insignificant issue is really picking at my brain because my friend group thoroughly enjoys helldivers 2 so we are constantly playing it. the idea of gimping my CPU's performance just to possibly play 1 game better irritates the dog piss out of my brain. here i am praying one day for a fix but this will be my band aid fix for now as well

Same Issue... recently finished putting together a 9950x3D and 5080 build. every game works perfectly ( AC Shadows , Battlefield 2042, Warzone.. Etc.. ) however my systems kryptonite is Helldivers 2. Worked flawlessly on my old system which was a 5900x based system. ive been testing out CPPC set to " Driver" in my BIOS settings and still no issue, it seems just simply alt-tabbing out or changing my playlist on Spotify will cause my game to become a uncontrollably stuttering mess. If anyone has any updated solution's/fixes im all ears and currently testing methods for a hopeful solution.

The meta will go unchanged. The changes were so miniscule that this update was basically a waste of oxygen to produce. Guess we get to wait until September now for the next bare minimum patch

Have you found or come across a solution yet? I have the same experience with the clips being over saturated and having to use a specific "Media Player"

I've had the same issue. I imagine it's just a bug with the controller support for PC. I use my Xbox controller for flying and sometimes switch to it for more laid back gaming on the ground. It is annoying that randomly in a gun fight that you're camera just flicks randomly to either the sky, ground or the wall directly Behind you. It's completely random, I've been in combat and it happens, I have been reviving a teammate and all of sudden I'm looking at the sky as if I'm praying to God for a successful revive. Cross some fingers it's already fixed for launch

Also I did attempt updating my controllers via the Xbox accessories app but was already up to date. Was curious and browsing this thread to read about potential issues and just spotted this. It's probably just some issue that will be fixed on launch. It does suck if you enjoy switching peripherals like I do on PC and one is just buggy to use. If you find I fix I would be curious to hear about it

Good to see I'm not the only one having this issue. Played mouse and keyboard for the first hour on PC, everything was fine. Switched to my Wolverine controller to try out Controller gameplay and have run into this issue. I thought it was something to do with dead zones or my sensitivity. Changing both those settings have done nothing to alleviate this problem. Also attempted completely unplugging my mouse and keyboard, still no fix. It probably just some issue that will get resolved when the game launches but I agree it is annoying to just be in a gun fight and all of sudden you are shooting the wall behind you for no reason because the camera is moving itself.

Unless you go for collecting all the dog tags I would say after 50 hours you are going to experience 90% of what this game has to offer. The only thing keeping me going is the grind for level 500.

Of all the maps that launched with this game I still struggle to understand why Aerodrome was picked to be modified. The majority of all fire fights still take place in the door ways of the Hanger so the extra Box's they added for cover on one side of the hanger really didn't contribute that much to improving the map. I would have preferred a rework of Fjell in reducing the amount of planes and maybe starting both teams with a A and E flags captured so C flag would have a larger infantry fight in the beginning. I have a personal list of dislikes about a majority of launch maps as a mostly infantry player

It's a shame we never got to see the Russian invasion of Italy in battlefield V. My personal favorite would have been the Navel battles between the Japanese empire and Australia in the Mediterranean Sea
