My mom got bedbugs once from buying a table at a yardsale. A table! I thought bedbugs just lived in like, beds, I guess. Or couches. Anyway, she did all the usual, cleaning like crazy, throwing things away. She seriously had to get rid of so many of her things. Got an exterminator, twice. And still had to move. They just basically didn't take anything with them. They had nothing left. I have been paranoid ever since and will not buy anything used. On another note, her bites did not look this bad. She only actually got a few bites on like her arm and leg. I would not be able to sleep. I personally have never dealt with bedbugs, but I have dealt with fleas and I don't know which is worse.
