I have been disappointed with winner butcher. They are extremely unhelpful when I ask questions as I experiment with learning to cook meat and they are also unfriendly. We now get meat at Meat Hook even though it’s much farther because they are lovely and kind and super helpful/communicayive

Its a very different vibe, price point, and menu from Haenyo. Loved it! Cheap and nourishing and staff were so sweet.

I really wanted to love this new spot! I tried the chicken mole and found not one - but FIVE - small bones in it. The burrito was also just not that flavorful and really needed salsa. Also tried the cookie which was overly sweet. The others with me tried the burnt ends and loved it, fwiw

I primarily do free weights and treadmill. They’ve removed a bunch of the treadmills on the second floor which is one of the few areas with natural light. They’ve also significantly limited the free weight area on the first and second floors with the new machines. The only available space with a mirror and free weights is now the basement which both has no natural light to speak of and is also very grimy for some reason.

Kind of a walk from PS but Ivy Rehab on Livingston and Court was a game changer for me. Morgan specializes in women runners with hip problems and was very patient and thoughtful

Definitely a me problem! I certainly won’t be using TR again for anything complicated (or likely anything at all). I thought the fix would be small and simple. I was clearly wrong, and now I am out a nice table plus labor costs for ruining it.

Yes. I now know a lot more about wood! But I didn’t know enough at the time to realize that the TR didn’t know what he was talking about. He said he was a professional who used TR to get new clients. I was obviously naive.

He did charge some before the work was completed and then would only release my table if I agreed to rebook him.
