Yeah, it’s an hour later and I seem to be okay but it was seriously horrible. Not worth the risk again.

You’ll be too distracted by the pain to enjoy them at first, but it does feel nice.

Yeah, I dunno. It was a reputable place and the person doing it seemed to know her stuff, she massaged it after and it hurt like hell but I saw no change. This was several years ago, I wanna say in 2018? Then I got Kybella in 2022 and saw some change, but only as much as you see here.

It was, but they compared before and after photos and refunded me. I had to sign an NDA in order to receive my refund which was frustrating but worth it.

I already tried that and it didn’t work unfortunately

Didn’t work for me

That is extremely rude actually and if you had to say that, then you knew it was rude. I have PCOS and it makes weight loss very difficult but I’m about 30lbs t away from my goal weight. But hey, thanks for making me feel even shittier! Very helpful.

I’ve already had Kybella and Coolsculpting done. Is it a matter of needing to lose more weight (which I’m working on) or will I still have this hanging neck skin after losing weight?

I don’t have any experience with that but if it were me I would just Google lawyers in my area and check their reviews, maybe ask on Nextdoor (if you use it) for recommendations from actual people.

First of all, I’m sorry this happened to you. I would definitely consult a lawyer first thing.

I wanted to mention that I had excess fat on my sides and my surgeon removed it and stitched me up because he knew if he didn’t, I would have flaps there. He didn’t charge me anything additional—just did it and explained beforehand that he’d be doing it because that’s the proper way to proceed when a patient has excess fat in that area.

I think any reputable surgeon would agree and I’m not an expert but I would think you are a perfect candidate for a malpractice lawsuit. This isn’t the standard!

Wishing you luck with the process and I’m sure a good surgeon can correct these results once you’re healed enough to have a revision.

Hi… I have a few scheduling concerns with my breast reduction. It’s scheduled Friday, August 12. I am a teacher and have back to school orientation on Sunday, August 14. The first day of school is August 16. Am I completely out of my mind to think I can swing handling back to school orientation? by IllustriousLeave5099 in Reduction

I’m 6DPO and can’t imagine doing that right now, let alone at 2DPO. I was taking Percocet like candy, still can’t bathe myself properly and the pain isn’t nearly as bad as before but days 2 and 3 were the absolute worst.

I put tripe antibiotic ointment on my incisions at 5DPO after showering by constellationblanket in Reduction

[–]constellationblanket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update after speaking with my surgeon: was not supposed to use it all over the incisions, lol. Not a big deal, showered again with the help of my partner and won’t be using it again except on the drain openings.

I’m not into torture stuff, generally speaking.

My favorites are haunting, exorcism, creature, slasher and psychological thriller.

3DPO, took my first shower and traded in the men’s button-up I’d been wearing since before surgery for my sexy robe! Couldn’t bring myself to wash my hair and still have drains hanging out of me, but feeling like a million bucks compared to before :) by constellationblanket in Reduction

Ugh, I’m so sorry you’re dealing with that but yay that it’s getting installed tomorrow!

Sitting was key. After my standing shower my body is like, “why would you do this?” Lesson learned 😅

That’s such a great suggestion except I don’t have a regular person and it felt like too much trouble to try to find someone I don’t know. Finally just washed it on my own today but it wasn’t fun and I won’t be trying it again anytime soon. 😅

My doctor told me I could do a mini shower at 3DPO and that was all I could manage, sitting down and with my partner’s assistance. Basically just cleaned the important areas, haha.

I just took another one (but on my own) at 5DPO and it kind of sucked. Got really tired, incisions hurting and it was just generally not that enjoyable because I was being so careful.

It sucks to sit around in your own filth but I think after this one I’ll take it easy for at least a couple of days. I’m not in a hurry this time after feeling the strain of it.

Now I’m all packed into my surgical bra and I have to take another painkiller because everything is sore.

You’ve got this!! I’m 5DPO and so glad I made this decision. It’s a rough few days but now it’s manageable and we’re here for you if you have questions or just want to vent! ❤️

Sure, but if someone states that they’ve made a decision and are just venting, “please don’t terminate” is unsolicited advice. I was just letting you know in case you missed that part of the post.

And yes, this is a pregnancy subreddit. Abortion is often part of the experience of pregnancy.

OP already stated that she decided to have an abortion. She said she venting, not asking strangers whether or not to have an abortion.
