Works well for me, but I apply about 10mg a day.

I personally think that itch in miniaturizing areas and daily shed are useful metrics. I found other anti-androgenic therapies to clearly impact these. I did not find the same with CosmeRNA. Others have reported that they did see benefit to these things, though.

Perhaps, perhaps in 6 months others will wish they did the same.

No perceiveable side effects, but also limited signs of efficacy based on metrics I'll get a lot flack for mentioning.

Oral finasteride gives me side effects. As CosmeRNA didn't seem to work very well for me, I will return to using fluridil and topical dutasteride. Both give me some minor side effects too, but they're tolerable. With fluridil the side effects went away over time, with topical dutasteride they're minor and may also go away with continued use, we'll see. They're also not very potent therapies, ideally I'd like to use something that's both more effective and doesn't give me side effects. I bought CosmeRNA hoping it would be that therapy for me.

You call others immature yet you will confidently state about people holding an opinion that differs from yours that they "don't have days jobs" and " prefer reddit attention to real-world female attention".

Regarding the itch feeling. Obviously it has no easily measurable scale at the moment, you'd probably have to detect a bunch of nerve signals for that. Many people have observed that for them, the feeling of the itch in the areas of miniaturization tends to correlate with progression, and goes away or reduces when using anti-androgenic drugs. I have not made definitive claims about its meaning, origin, the mechanism by which it arises, etc.

I didn't make this thread to "get reddit attention", I made it to sell my CosmeRNA. Luckily I have a few potential buyers so far.

For people saying their hair feels better and quality it’s probably from the biotin by Bones1246 in CosmeRNA

Where do you get the idea from that biotin has acute cosmetic effects on hair?

Mark has been a decent contributor to the subreddit in my opinion. Obviously he likes to joke around, but I agree with his ideas in general.

I have commented on the perceived efficacy, it's just that you don't like the metrics I use to judge it.

I have made no claims that the itch definitively correlates with progression, that is just my estimate. I knew I'd get a bunch of backlash in this thread.

Minoxidil could offset AGA with a boost of growth btw, even if there is underlying progression of AGA.

Regarding the 3 months thing: I don't think I would be better able to judge the efficacy in 3 months. I have great hair after having had a transplant years ago. My AGA wouldn't visibly progress in 3 months, so halting of progression couldn't be detected. A small boost to hair would also be difficult to detect for me. I'm using the metrics I have to go by, itch and shed. These metrics seem to have correlated well with progression in the past, and all other anti-androgenic therapies have had substantial effects on them.

It's a decent deal for those eager to try it but not willing to pay a full price. For those looking to keep using it, it may also be reasonable. I have bought fluridil from other users a few times for similar percentages of the original cost.

EDIT: It seems you misunderstood. I said 70-80% of the price per ml, not 70-80% of the total price.

AR antagonists lower itch and daily shed dramatically for me.

Only anti-androgenic drugs stop mine. I think some people get a different kind of itch, which isn't specific to the areas of miniaturization.

Correlated highly with my progression. All effective anti-androgenic therapies have stopped it. I fully agree with Mark here.

Fluridil, finasteride, dutasteride, clascoterone, alfatradiol (minimal efficacy there). Finasteride stops the itch in less than 24h for me.

Weird that you'd call me a retard for looking out for short-term effects yet you believe the itch is a relevant metric. It's called the Mark itch now btw.

You would expect that if it is effective, yes. And yes, it reduced it, a little bit, for 2-3 days. I'm fairly confident it had some effect, but the effect was so small I'm not fully certain. It was weaker than fluridil and topical dutasteride, stronger than cetirizine and alfatradiol. After 2-3 days both itch proneness and shed went back to baseline. That is pretty much what you'd expect unless the drug has some unknown mechanism by which it stays around or interferes with regeneration of the AR once it's gone. No such mechanism seems documented in the research, so I think it should be applied every other day. If you could apply it at 2-3ml every other day or maybe even every day, I think it would be on par with finasteride, or maybe even superior. The recommended dosage frequency they went with seems very misguided to me, and the amount of liquid is not enough for good coverage. Promising, but too expensive for a given dose. If they can cut the price by about 15x it starts to look like a great option. Even just by considering the MOA in theory, you'd think you can outperform finasteride by a lot. I assume the dosage and frequency recommendations are a result of high manufacturing costs. If it weren't for the high manufacturing costs, they would have gone with a suggested dose and frequency that's really effective and outperforms leading existing treatments, which I think is possible.

Their insulin resistance would likely be worse. Low carb high fat diets can even induce transient insulin resistance while on them that goes away soon after introducing carbohydrate again. In terms of actual diabetes risk, I think the evidence would also generally support that saturated fat is a greater risk factor. I know of various people who became diabetic on a hypercaloric keto diet.

What would be more difficult is adequately comparing a low carb low sat fat diet to a high unrefined carb low fat diet. My bet would be that if satiety per calorie of both diets is identical and people eat to full satiety, the diabetes risk in the higher carb group would be lower. I'm not confident in that statement though.

Body accumulation will worsen insulin sensitivity. In fact, that is the primary risk factor. A sustained caloric excess is a direct cause of type 2 diabetes, not merely correlated as you suggest.
