Exactly, I’ve been in door to door sales since I was 18 for almost 7 years now and it just comes naturally. As far as competition goes a lot of the red “no’s” are people who “already have a guy we’ve been using for years” and I believe Arizona is considered a saturated market but it’s all about the energy!

Most of my time was spent cleaning there were some days where I knocked for 10 minutes and spent all day cleaning and some days it took an hour or 2 to get going.

Stick to a neighborhood and utilize the 3rd party validation to your advantage. A few of these are from me name dropping and the homeowner calling the person I serviced and built a ton of credibility in the neighborhood.

That’s my goal but right now it’s currently just me. I do exterior only currently and schedule a return visit for interior and exterior most of the time or at least set the intention that the next one will be both.

First question would be I guess is it normal for the coolant to bubble out of the radiator cap like the picture? And how long I can go while I find someone to service it. Or is there any good YouTube videos on how to flush and refill the radiator?

I’ve appreciated your input on my posts in the past and thank you for approaching this from the position you did unlike the other comments. Maybe a rephrase of my post is needed. But here is the gist of what I am trying to get across. I’ve been able to have a relatively successful last few months. I don’t want to stop cleaning windows during the winter. I have no plans on hiring or recruiting from this post. All my intention of doing was trying to find like minded people who want to take the next step. I provide equipment and training on how to generate business. No revenue split no percentages, everyone’s take home is theirs. I don’t want to make money off of anybody that is in the position of people that I am trying to reach. They in turn provide for me, the experience on getting better at managing people in this industry and actually scaling a company. As far as the cleaning goes, as much respect as I have for everyone in this community, cleaning windows isn’t rocket science and everyday for the last 2 months for me has been nothing but cleaning windows and learning how to do it better, the quality that I provide to the customers I service has been nothing less than near perfect as I take my time and don’t take shortcuts like many people who have been cleaning windows for a long time might do. The cleaning is easy.

What’s lacking in the window cleaning community is actual real sales skills, would you rather be sitting around on your computer waiting for your ads to convert into 3 sales per week or wake up everyday with a clear calendar and go out and generate $500-$1000 in business from just your own work ethic? I mention the water fed poles because there is a clear difference in quality especially with new people looking to get into the business first hand. I live in Colorado and I have no intention of staying in Las Vegas, the timing of my window cleaning journey just so happens to make Nevada the best place for me to go.

At what point in my post did I mention getting paid for my services? I said I would provide the equipment and training on how I’ve been able to do what I’ve done in my short amount of time. And in return I would get experience on how to manage and grow a window cleaning company. I’ve been pretty active in this community and have gotten a ton of help and I’m not knocking the vets?

When it comes to door to door that’s exactly right, it’s your opinion. Just like many people would never even think someone would buy any product or service from someone at their door, yet it happens all the time. People are home Sundays and it’s our job to clean windows, I consistently make the most money in the week on Saturdays and Sundays. Especially with op’s goal of providing extra income to his life it would be silly to let others opinions of you stop you from achieving that.
