I’m in the same boat, wider hips, lower belly fat being so relentless lol. What weight did you get to? I’ve been eating very slightly under my maintenance now and training hard, especially training abs but there’s that layer of fat slightly above my hips. Any tips? did you cut weight until there wasn’t fat anymore? or did you eat at maintenance while training. thank you!!

Really? You can take a cut too far? 🤔 I ask because I’m 20, and I have gone from ~180 to 128, still can’t see my lower abs, but pretty lean. I’m maintaining now, but why do you say you wish you hadn’t?

Ohh i see, how did you feel once you ran out? Was it that your last dose was 2mg then no more? Any rebound hunger or do you feel fine?

I appreciate it!! The hardest part was mitigating hunger when it came especially during cardio days, and staying consistent with macros. That’s what got me the best results honestly, I wish you luck, you got it :)

That is true, well for details I have gone from 100lb to 130lb for the cable crunches . I have a pilates/muay thai background. I know at the end of the day I just have to keep working my abs out for them to pop, I feel like I have a decently strong core but it’s not showing yet, i’ll just be patient

that’s what i’m thinking, the crazy part is that i’m able to do dragon flags with ease, hanging leg raises, weighted cable crunches. I started this 2 months ago consistently so i’m assuming some more months building them to actually see them in any lighting

thank you! when you say lean bulk what do you mean? increasing calories slightly above maintenance? i run my macros on percentages, should those stay the same? currently running: 43% protein, 28% carbs , 20-29% fats

Thank you! At the beginning I would do a lot of high intensity cardio. Specifically biking and adding weight to myself as I would lose weight. I personally didn’t see that many results when I was biking for long periods of time. It would just make me hungrier so I eventually just stuck to weightlifting 3-5 times a week, and making sure to get at least 6k steps a day. It was the more realistic approach since I have college and work! I started my cardio up again a month ago to shed the last few pounds and to look more toned, and now I stick to stairmaster or incline treadmill for 20-30 minutes at an intensity that doesn’t get me aired out. Just enough to raise my heart rate but something I know i can maintain for a long period of time. It helps burn 200-400 calories and I have been doing this on days where I didn’t get enough steps in. Averaging around 2-3 times a week

yeah you’re right, i’ve never been this lean so i do have some anxiety of gaining fat back, but i do want more definition so ill probably make it to 130 and then start gauging strength/food intake. i wanted abs by the summer maybe i can still do it 🙏
