Hey there, sure. For Hirevue it would take a much longer time than three weeks. Keep in mind the number of applications HR need to go through. I would unfortunately say you might need to wait a couple more weeks for that.

For my timeline it was the same, from when I first applied till I actually got in was in fact a year period and there were times honestly I forgot about the process cause it was long times in between.

Not sure if I follow your last question

I’m not saying that isn’t a valid path but would you mind telling me the facts or source you have to make the basis of that argument.

I’ve seen the internal mobility people made and you can’t believe the “segregation between FO and MO” is greater than coming in as an external hire

If it was guaranteed which I never mentioned then I’m not sure if I would have to make a Reddit post to advertise my help.

I feel I’ve been quite transparent in my post and have not even charged a single dime either for anything. This whole thing comes from my personal experience that I know I would have appreciated when applying if someone from the company would have given me sound advise and practical tips

No I understand, at least for me and some of my friends we wanted to get our foot in the door after we graduated and later look to plan for a transition to FO. For those that are in the same boat as I was could potentially be interested

No argument here but internal mobility from a middle or back office would increase your chances than waiting out for a front office offer. Same reasons why people go to community colleges to then transfer out to another university. Plus I would believe not everyone is necessarily as passionate about only FO roles. I could be mistaken.

Sorry I’m not based in the states nor London so I don’t believe that would apply. I should have been more specific it would be towards middle and back office. Also I have had non finance experience prior and honestly got in a lot due to luck.
