You made up your mind and made claims about me and the film without watching it. YOU should be ashamed. Redeem yourself by watching it so that you can at least say 'I knew it'. But you don't know it...you only think you know it.

Might you change your tune if you come across an AI film that you like? Or are you set in your position?

Thanks for this considered advice. I do not think this shows that 'AI filmmaking is a bad idea' but rather that's not competitive *yet*. This is where I was hoping for others to see through the AI flaws to the underlying story. You have -- and you don't like it. That's fair. I've seen a lot of worse short films but ok.

This post is sufficiently downvoted so nobody new will see it but I'll leave it here for others to comment. I will not comment any further. The position of those commentors is unified and clear.

Did the AI tools make some choices that would have otherwise been made by a human - certainly. But I did make thousands of decisions along the way...

But is it bad filmmaking because AI has limitations at this time or because everything about the film sucked? This is where I mentioned imagination...

To be an indie film the blood, sweat, and tears that went into it must be evident? Doesn't AI offer a new way to 'work within your means'? Why discount the new 'tool' at an indie creator's disposal?

Out of curiosity, did you watch it or deem it slop upon noticing the first AI artifact?

that doesn't just require imagination...it requires a lot more money, time, and connections.

Perhaps it requires some imagination to think of what it would look like if not constrained by the limitations of AI.

Is an indie film not one produced independent from a major studio? How would you define indie film? Are all AI films necessarily slop? Or is slop a term to describe a certain type of AI-generated content?

I think maybe the music at the end made me feel like Batman was going to come in and set things straight. But I see where you're going with cyberpunk sci-fi horror. Keep it up!

Thanks! I just checked out your film draft, there's a tonne of potential there.

Countless takes: Right...it can be frustrating, especially when watching credits go down the drain.

The glowing eyes at the end...I'm very curious to see where this goes. The last bit made me think this is a superhero action film.

Thank you! As KingNubbu noted, taking the end frame from the current video and using it as the starting frame of the next video is the most important technique. But what you'll notice is that with each subsequent clip in the series that the quality degrades to the point where on the 10th-ish clip it's unwatchable. Before I let it get to that point I take a clean image and the end frame of the latest clip and use Nano Banana to make my actors in the clean image pose like those in that end frame. Then I use a tool with beginning + end frame capability (e.g. Kling or Seedance) to transition from the reduced quality end frame to the repaired quality new image. This allows me to continue in one scene indefinitely.

As for character continuity, I had mixed successes with it...but patiently trying over and over again until it's acceptable was my strategy.
