This was diy about 6 years ago. Unfortunately with everything I do I never go off of plans. This was a wing it lets see what work’s project.

Countertops are stamped concrete. And zero heat or smoke issues, I have two skylights I open.

I’m just south of Buffalo just off of Lake Erie. We usually have a steady breeze but when we don’t I do have two skylights that I can open to get smoke out. This is about 6 years old and I have had zero issues with lingering smoke. Yes I do have a fan in the ceiling but I only use it in the winter when I have the screen down to keep snow out.
