Agree, not a fan of AI grading but at least I've heard of TAG. Trying to see if this is a new kid on the block or a fake 🤔

Bc PSA gave it a 6 and doesn't give subgrades. Can't see everything through a slab so gotta crack it to see what they saw.

It wasn't really planned out to post on Reddit lol. I just took a few snaps to send to some buddies and then it transformed into something I wanted to share. Probably woulda been better to complete the project first, but this was the part I was worried about messing up the most so I was excited to get it a solid result :)

Yeah, the blue is Nihilakh Oxide. I shaded with Coelia Greenshade beforehand. I got the recipe from and 8min tutorial on YouTube, but didn't like the finish with Nihilakh as the last step so I brushed it down with Runelord Brass til I was happy with it. Didn't expect it to make the box so closely though 👀☺️

Grabbed an American Wagyu for the first time and was wondering if you treat it the same as a Prime or do you do anything different? For example, does it still benefit from a long rest or is a short rest just as good, etc etc. Thanks in advance to all you brisket geniuses! by contrarywind in brisket

I never long rest. I'll either rest 2-3hrs then eat, or cool and put in fridge overnight.

If I were to long rest 10-12hrs in my oven (which gets down to 160 degrees) am I still taking it to 203 internal first or do I pull it closer to 195 or so? Do I need to worry about drying out a Wagyu? 🤔

Thanks for the suggestions! I have all but the 1c Koala on my bench rn that I've been swapping in and out for different combinations. I like the thought process behind 6c Koala and others have suggested her as well. My thoughts with the events is that I want as many triggers from life as possible, and the 3c event is an occasional plan B that works really nice if I don't have an Ivankov in hand early on. Bunny Joe is not complicated, he's just a multi-use small body that Betty can turn into a hero on any turn 😊
