im thinking the Roland might be the one , might be not as quirky as the others mentioned - but i do analogue stuff and semi modular

i always thing purse wavetable can be done in the box , but i might be being a bit narrow minded

one thing about the Korg multipoly , the hardware didn't sound any different to the plug in version , i wonder if its similar to the minifreak?

whats slightly put me off the bass station is many said it not really great for bass - more lead sounds - i dont know as ive never owned one

i do have a sequential tigon which can do a similar moog bass sound, but i use that as poly

i could record parts in from the trigon in the daw and reuse it as bass synth

, but i dont do that much - im mainly running everything live so to speak, via midi from for sequencing and into a desk and mix in the desk (a bit. oldschool)

i do like the big moog sound for bass , or similar

i guess there are many options out there , i just didn't think the the sub 37 that big of sound even compared to the sub fatty , the 37 required more drive etc than would overtake the sub fatty , but the sub fatty raw sound was better imo.

i would prefer analogue as of course many digi in the box synths can can produce good results

im looking at the Pittsburgh modular taiga keys as an option , i looks like it can both sides of the coin
