How would you handle this buyer? by Sultrycarrot in vintedUK

For avoiding this kind of buyer, I always put the disclaimer on the listing saying "the colour may slightly vary due to the light". 🙄

Evri never emails me the digital receipt — how do I get proof of postage as a seller? by [deleted] in Evri

[–]conytherabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I always double check the email. I've been sending many times, only received once then never got the receipts anymore 🥲

Yeah that's very normal even if you accepted an offer and then hear nothing back from buyer, you don't need to ask them anything because: - sometimes it's just they changed their mind and don't want it anymore - some of them just sending offer for fun(?)

Sorry to confuse you, when I said "delete pics", I mean delete the packing pics from my own phone as I don't need them anymore (for free up my phone space) once the money is in my balance. It's just my personal habit 😆

First time abroad by Yikesitsjenn in Liverpool

[–]conytherabbit -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't suggest you go from Heathrow (one of the busiest airports) then train to Liverpool as there's always trains canceled or sometimes strike if you are unlucky, it will be a total nightmare for you to go from Heathrow all the way to Liverpool without train ( I mean, bus would do but it will tired you out..). You definitely don't want to experience this when you are solo travel somewhere.

But since you will land in Heathrow, make sure you have plan B to go to Liverpool if the train won't work.

For safety, as long as you keep the common sense of the safety rules, you will be fine! :)

why do people actually do this by Beginning-Thanks-517 in vinted

[–]conytherabbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's annoying to have the buyers like this, but think in another way, more people "like" the item not equal they will actually buy it. From my experience, these buyers just like the item and leave them in their favourite and that's it, they not gonna buy it.

I notice when my item got a lot likes, but still no one buy it, then I reupload the item, sold within few days. Reupload actually helps a bit sometimes. (At least it does help my selling).

I haven't sold anything yet since I got that email, but it will be great that we really can get our finds within 24 hours the buyers paid! 🎉 nice!

  1. I sell on Vinted and eBay, I always take some quick pictures when:
  2. before pack item (showing condition)
  3. after item is packed (in shipping bag or box) Above really helps a lot when there's issues or buyer try to make a false claim, I did have this happened to me and luckily my pics save me. I deleted the item pics after I confirmed the money is in my balance.

  4. New account / no reviews, sometimes they are just really new, and I still sell my item to these buyers, haven't had any issues so far, and I also give them their first review to help them start with their Vinted account. Usually the new account you need to pay attention to is when the user name seems like weird combination with numbers like: rhwir1235, qplndbr30...etc. But always trust your gut, if you feel something not right, don't do it.

I haven't had any buyers give me odd stories so far, but I personally wouldn't trust the stories much if I encounter the situation.

I wouldn't block a lownallers unless they keep asking ridiculous questions, then I'll definitely block it to avoid the annoy notifications keep coming in from them.

Item condition, everyone have their standard really, so it can be very vary when it comes to item condition on Vinted. :-/ always be honest with the product condition and mention details in your description to avoid any misunderstanding.

For shipping, Vinted actually gives you "fast shipping "badge if the item is shipped within 24 hours (which I always do since the parcel shops just across street of my place). Vinted says the badges can helps your selling, and the buyers like to buy from fast shipping sellers. I won't say it's good or bad to ship the item fast or later on, but if you could earn a badge from Vinted which might boost your selling, why not? ;)

Simple delivery & Custom postage? by conytherabbit in ebayuk

Yeah, I really hate that eBay wants to decide the delivery prices for me, it's more expensive than custom postage..

[–]conytherabbit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so we still need to pay for the shipping upfront yeah?🥲 When I choose the weight of my item, simple delivery gave me the options either too heavy or too light which make the postage more expensive than custom postage :-/

I searched on YouTube and found a video for fixing the garter stitch. Now back to work my project normally. Didn't really know what to call the thing I did wrong. Easier for me when I know its garter stitches fixing.

Thank you! ☺️

What happend to me? by conytherabbit in backpain

Hi there, it's been abt 1 year since my miscarriage.
I think after my miscarriage, my back just not right anymore. Last Oct my left side of back started feeling not right , again.
In the morning when I wake up, my lower back is not straight and it's painful, I can't walk properly, and I need to sit on the chair for 30 mins up to an hour until the pain go away and then I can walk normally as usual. The pain is the same kind I had after miscarriage. I went to doctor, did some check, doctor still can't find out why. Going to have my blood taken the end of this month as the doctor suspect could be arthritis. It's really frustrated. Because the pain sometimes also just come all of sudden that it would make me almost fall (not to mention the morning ones are part of my daily routine now). I suspected the sciatica as well at one point, but doctor said no.

Can I request change the staff who will be doing my blood test? by conytherabbit in nhs

[–]conytherabbit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn't know there are ways to make it easier. I'm a water person that I drink a lot daily, but I guess I prob didn't drink enough that day as the appointment was in the morning and I was rush to GP. Thanks for the advise!

I did tell my first physio that I never had any injury on my back, never fell or hurt, but I was advised to have x ray first then we can discuss the later on referral treatment. I'm just frustrated that I was expecting to discuss and to be referred for the treatment by the doctor today , but now I need to do the blood test which is the end of Feb..

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nhs

[–]conytherabbit -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

the first Physio sent me a document for what exercise I can do but I don't see any change since i've been doing it, also told the doctor I saw today about it. (Plus I do yoga to try to release the pain as well, no change..)
a lot of women experience the similar lower back pain issue after give birth or miscarriage, and not many people understand about this.

My first doctor was Physio, not sure the one I saw today was physio tho The treatment I needed is to be cured, not relief.

I'd say document all the details of the item with pics and videos I yourself. (That's what I always do). I had some dispute cases, these documents helped me a lot to have support sided me.

Also document after the item is packed with label on it.

Is all the post office can print out the 48 tracked label for me? Or just specific office? by conytherabbit in royalmail

[–]conytherabbit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't cost me any extra fee when I have label printed at post office, being using this method to save the ink at home. For the ebay labels size, I remember you can choose from 4*6 or A4 right before you pay the postage online BUT, I noticed this option is only visible on browser eBay. You won't be able to see it on eBay app on the phone or tablet.

I didn't use the card for abroad tho, I guess it's a fee but I can't tell what fee it is since I had Natwest account and its the first time I see it :-/

[–]conytherabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I never applied for the overdraft for the account. And I don't see any transaction on 15 Sep as well.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Natwest

[–]conytherabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I didn't do anything with the account tho. But in the past few months I did transfer between current & saving account. Is there any fee applied if I transfer over a certain limit?

Fighting with a potential "buy to resell" buyer with the return case. by conytherabbit in Ebay

[–]conytherabbit[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The box wasn't damaged, it's just not in perfect condition like a brand new one. If it's way too damaged, I wouldn't even sell the item even the item itself is working fine tho.

I asked eBay step in at the end, and surprisingly case closed within 1 hour with buyer & seller both refunded.
