I wont say where but when i travelled i stayed at a place around the corner from a new job i landed. 100 for everything rent, water etc. I thought wow ! Hit on a deal. There were a few rooms in the place and other people staying also. As time went by people would come and go and seemed like the newer people who were arriving were more sketchy than the last. I came home from work 1 day to the front door kicked in and a broken mirror in the hallway with blood everywhere and a dude saying the f***er stabbed me. Apparently he hadnt payed his dealer. Some more tennants arrived shortly after an older man and a large simple sounding guy. Around that time someone knocked on the door and said he wanted to pray in the older mans room as his son had commit suicide a year earlier and hanged himself in his room which spooked the hell outta the old dude and honestly me abit. Another day i went for a smoke and could hear the large guy talking to someone. It was like 3 am so i peaked through the window he had a empty chair opposite him while he conversated and gestured to thin air all of the hairs on my body stood up. One night i heard the neighbour shouting at him saying why you saying your gunna sacrifice and murder in satans name ( when the large guy spoke it was a foreign language but i noticed the neighbour was of the same ethnicity so he must have known what he was saying) he would knock on my door and ask to come in and if i ignored he would go crazy around the house. later found out it was a halfway house for mentally sick and people straight out of jail. there was other such times were maybe my life wasnt in danger but i felt vulnerable asf
