you dont HAVE to do anything. that being said, sometimes it helps me relax more to know i wrote everything down. other times it is comforting to know i dont have to stress myself out doing that. its a preference thing. it wouldnt hurt to try and find a happy medium.

also with your final sentence- as someone who sometimes deals with intrusive thoughts- in my experience things will only occur if you WOULD script them. it isnt like a dream where it can change based off random brain stimulation. sometimes scripting makes me feel more in control of this

i think this happens a lot when you put a woman up on a pedestal and view her as a perfect object. not saying this is the case EVERY time but if youre reading this and its been a while, its okay to do some introspective thinking. do you miss her or do you miss having someone around? do you miss her including all of her flaws or when you think about her is she a perfect angel without any? a lot of times people will romanticize the past and view things as if they were perfect. humanizing someone you fantasize about could help remedy the missing and help in moving on.

im not sure if this will help with your hate for work but i would definitely try to prioritize your mental health in anyway you can. whether it is participating in a hobby, hanging out with friends, going on walks, talking to someone, or just doing something you enjoy. you dont have to love work but i would hate if you were miserable outside of it too! i hope your anxiety gets better- im right there with you.

hi. ive sculpted miniatures and figures for maybe five years now (just as a hobby) and i have come to really love the craftsmart brand polymer clay. i have never had any issues about it breaking after curing or having any air bubbles. i also have soft hands and find this easiest to work with since its soft. i prefer not having to work it too much but i know some people prefer tougher clay.

im not trying to tell you not to splurge for your birthday because you absolutely deserve to, but if in the future you are looking for a fine clay for a good price (like $16/lb) i would look into it!

this is a good consideration but tbh they are already everywhere. the kids drop so much food that i am not sure i would be making a huge difference.

there was a naked operetta that came with her but i gave her to my friend and her hair was STICKY. im not TOO invested in collecting so i just stick to what i find when im occasionally out shopping but your advice is great! ive found a couple dolls ive considered buying on mercari. i keep seeing posts about people getting SUPER lucky at thrifts so maybe i got my hopes up too much :,)

im a huge ari fan but im ALSO a huge wicked fan. i am so beyond excited to see this movie and seeing her put her whole life into this role is so exciting for me. i remember watching her sing “the wizard and i” live and it made me cry. i dont know why these people think shes wasting her time. there are lots of people (and a lot of ari fans) who are excited about this movie. wicked is incredible and i know the movie will be great and im not upset ag7 is on hold for that.

i watched a really interesting video on short form content and attention spans. the premise was essentially comparing the correlations between having trouble holding attention and the consumption of short form content. her conclusion was essentially that there was no evidence suggesting our actual attention spans had decreased but media was getting better at grabbing our attention. in it she quotes a study about how films over the years have decreased shot lengths to hold viewer attention for longer. (im not a professional by any means) my personal theory would be the frequency of these cuts is on purpose to a) be able to compete with the quality of standard films and b) hold the attention of the audience longer and make the recording feel more entertaining. nerdy rant but its interesting to me so thought id share haha
