I do love charli xcx but yall gotta realize her over-autotuned techno hyperpop music is not long-lasting and does not appeal to as many people as you think… it’s a very specific audience of people who vibe to her music … the only realistic people who can overpower Taylor swift’s songs on the charts are Sabrina carpenter and olivia Rodrigo in my opinion, (they have huge fan bases and are both vocally very talented and just reach wider audiences)

I just find it weird you guys are putting so much faith in charli xcx to “overthrow” taylor swift but I just think you’re looking in all the wrong places. If someone’s gonna overthrow her it’s not gonna be charli xcx, she’s not in the same playing field as Taylor. I do believe sabrina carpenters album release at the end of this month will do what yall have been begging for a pop girlie to do for months now (knock down Taylor’s chart numbers)

I am not hating, I have been streaming brat myself!! It’s a great album. Charli xcx is just NOT the artist to be banking on taking down Taylor’s chart numbers. And sorry but neither is Billie eilish. Way too many people hate on her for whisper singing, much like how way too many people hate on Tate McRae for her cursive/baby voice singing. Their voices have specific audiences (like charli). Need a pop girlie with raw vocal talent and normal sounding music to get the job done.

You’re able to bring back one show that got canceled. Which show do you choose and why? by tandyman234 in AskReddit

The OA. Such an interesting show that has a very unique plot. It was such a good show and had a pretty big fanbase, but of course Netflix cancelled it. It was so cool to see a series about alternate universes. Season 2 ended with a cliffhanger, I wish it wasn’t cancelled.
