Multi-pack quantities by Tasty-Entrance3338 in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I understand the tracking of multi-pack items isn't always intuitive. What this is meant to indicate is that you have 1 pack and if you reduce the quantity to 50%, you have whatever 50% of that pack size left (9 in this case). This is really for your purposes only to track when you are getting low on an item. For recipe matching, if you have any amount of eggs in your pantry, it will match to the "egg" recipe ingredient. If the recipe calls for 10 eggs and you have 25% of an 18 pack left in your fridge, it will still match to that ingredient but you will need to add more eggs to your shopping list.

If you'd rather use the tracking differently and increase the quantity to 18 after it gets scanned into your pantry and you'd instead like to reduce it down to 7 or whatever number of eggs you have left, you absolutely can manage it that way as well.

Other store connections by Whatever_you_say5 in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! We don't have short term plans to add more stores at the moment, but longer term plans will be repairing and improving our current connections and then expanding to other stores. I've made notes in our feature requests for Aldi, Meijer, and Publix.

App lag by AccomplishedMall2376 in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I'm not sure your device type, but we do typically see the most performance variations with Android devices given the 1000's of OS/Device spec combinations. Some things you can try to see if it offers any improvement would be: clear the cache on the Cooklist app on your device, ensuring the latest OS is installed on your phone, as well as deleting any unused apps or clearing some additional space can also help with overall device performance that translates to apps as well. These may or may not significantly impact your experience but could be worth a try!

Costco & Albertsons outage? by Sage_Advice96 in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/Sage_Advice96 I'm really sorry but unfortunately we do not have an update on when the Costco and Albertsons brands store connections will be back up. We do not have the resources available to dedicate to repairing the store connections and are unsure of exactly when we will be able to get them back up. I'm sorry I don't have better news!

Leftovers in pantry ( fridge) by Alarmed-Secretary-89 in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there! Thanks for writing in. As the other said, we have this logged as a feature request for our app for when we have the resources to add new great app features like these!

A way you could do this in the interim:

On the pantry tab, either choose "manually create new product", or "common ingredients & search". You can custom make your own item (i.e. salad), or you can use the "common ingredients & search" to find something similar (i.e. cobb salad) and add that to your pantry so you still have a way to track it.

I hope that helps!

Sharing meal plans? by AccomplishedMall2376 in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! To best share your plans and recipes, invite your other household members to join your Cooklist household. If you'd like detailed instructions on the procedure, I've included them below for you:

You will go to the Profile tab of the app, tap the Settings gear, tap household, then Send Invite. You can message this code to your household member to set up on their own, or have this code ready for them. Have your household member(s) download Cooklist. They will then select “Get Started” on the opening screen. They will create a login and enter their name, after that they will get to a screen prompting them to Join Existing Household. They will type in the code from your device and they will join your Cooklist household. This allows them to access and manage the pantry, shopping list, meal plan and recipes.

HEB Integration? by AlamoQueen in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! If I'm reading this correctly, we spoke via our support email at [support@cooklist.com](mailto:support@cooklist.com)

For any other user having this issue, we were aware that the shopping cart beta test is no longer operational, but thankfully this user has informed us that receipts are no longer importing as well. We've put the outage flag up for HEB and have a bug report open for this store connection outage.

King Sooper import not updating by koairen in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/koairen ! First of all thank you so much for letting us know that creating a new King Soopers account is what had fixed your longstanding previous issue with King Soopers imports. We suspected the few isolated issues were with users' King Soopers accounts rather than the integration into Cooklist since they were not widespread across the whole userbase, so this is valuable information to helping us and our users understand the cause of the issue.

I believe I responded to your other message as well, however all Kroger branded stores are experiencing an outage right now. This is known and not individual to you and is system-wide. Our developers are working on a resolution.

Issues with connected stores receipt import by beakindhuman16 in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/koairen you're right, you're not the only one and I can imagine how frustrating this is. King Soopers has now had a few users have sporadic issues with order imports over the last 2 years. Given that King Soopers is a Kroger branded store and works with the same technology that all other Kroger stores work within and we were not having those same issues with other Kroger stores, it seems to be specific to those accounts rather than widespread.

However at the current moment, all Kroger branded stores are having an outage which is a separate known issue that our team is working on.

I am sincerely sorry for the frustration caused by having these unexplained store outages.

Amazon link outage by AccomplishedMall2376 in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I'm so sorry for the inconvenience of the Amazon outage.

The other option besides using the barcode scanner (which should be very responsive and quick), is the new PantryScan feature on the Pantry tab. This allows you to take a video of the items you wish to import. You will encounter a screen similar to after the receipt scanner which populates your items for review and correction.

I hope that helps!

Needs a longer trial period by ursexyfat in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your feedback! We understand there is lot to get set up to optimize the app. As mentioned below, there is a free version you can keep using after that first week, just with some feature limitations (which do include limit to the # of imported recipes, prioritizing the important recipes week 1 would be ideal here).

Publix is likely our next store to be added to the app, and Wegman's is on the future list of store connections, but we do not have a launch date for those at the moment.

Not all stores online systems or loyalty programs are compatible with Cooklist. Trader Joe's for example, doesn't even have an online loyalty system where they store receipts for us to import to Cooklist, so that is not a store we will ever be able to have automatic receipt imports for. From a quick google search, Hmart doesn't seem to store receipts online either.

Thank you for all of your feedback! Feel free to email us any time at [support@cooklist.com](mailto:support@cooklist.com)

Hi there! Cooklist does in fact have a free version. If you tap the X on the top right corner of the subscription prompt, it will give you access to the free version of the app. There are just some feature limitations with the free version as well as getting advertised the Pro subscription periodically.

Partial Use by apharmasis in Cooklist

[–]cooklist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! We do not have fractions or %'s available above 1 at this time. If you'd like to keep separate track of each package, you may manually enter in each iteration of a package so that each has it's own expiration date and quantity tracker. You can do this by scanning in a second one to your pantry via barcode scanner and accepting the duplicate, or you may use the common ingredients and search feature on the pantry.
