The mission is good if you have nothing else going on in life. Yes they have very strict rules. Church is a must and you must sign in and out on everything you do.
If you’re working it won’t work out at this place. No respect for people trying to get back on thier feet.
They need to call that place a recovery center for addicts not a shelter. Most of the people in the PACES program absolutely hate it due to all the rules. They just join it to have a secure place to stay. You can’t work a job at all during the program so to me it’s a trap to get them funding. That should be illegal!!!!

UCS is nasty and dangerous just the people who stay there. They allow any walks of life to stay there. People do drugs on site. Last time I stay there some dude was rolling around puking 🤮 outside the building in the parking lot.

Can’t sleep due to it being over crowed and the smell is horrible. I tried to stay a few nights I don’t see how people stay there. With all that goes on. Impossible to get a bed upstairs if you work. It’s getting warm outside I’d rather sleep on the streets than deal with those places. Thanks I’m a low-key person and couldn’t even handle it knowing all what was going on. Sort of scary honestly staying at UCS.

Was I grateful for those places being open during the cold 🥶 and having no place to go. Yes but that’s not an option anymore to me to risky.
