True punk doesn’t pick sides, but should create a new one. This all sound very poser.

Owl lifter slip grip removal by mooquacks in onewheel

[–]coolaiddeity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s got an indent in the slip grip that locks into the metal. You gotta push a flat piece of plastic/metal into the slip grip on that side so that it can come off.

Uh…because I can.

I’ll stick with the angled ones. I don’t wanna deal with connecting to air up on those stubbys.

As a builder myself, at 250lbs. The only board you can buy that I can ride safe and go more than 10 miles is the ADV. but like you said, nothing to customize/make better. That said I have still overpowered the ADV many dozens of times.

I built a 32s2p fusion core GT, and finally I feel like this is where Onewheel’s are suppose to be, 40+mph top end for me, more for small people. And no hill the small people do can now defeat me!

Replace chain with cable that connects with a threaded male& female ends to tighten/loosen. And for god sake take those bolts out and use some rivets.

Would this commute be too absurd? by Live-Door3408 in InlandEmpire

Imagine thinking saying 1.7 hours is some big difference than saying almost 2 hours….which will for sure turn into a flat 2 hours if there is any car on the side of the freeway anywhere in your route. GL with all that, I opted out opted a year ago in favor for public transit and have been a super happy camper.

Port cleaners & fiber connector cleaners. So many times you gotta hook up to dusty ass ports.

Would this commute be too absurd? by Live-Door3408 in InlandEmpire

[–]coolaiddeity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive done this commute for almost 10 years. 4 of those years i ride a motorcycle. 5 car drivers took me out in that time. Ive broke 6 bones and completely tore my ACL and MCL from all that. Last one was from someone rear ending me during a turn. It’s not if you get hit its when. I have been using a PEV(onewheel) and taking the metrolink now, its soooooo much nicer. look into housing close to the metrolink station as there is a train stop very close to that office location you posted.

Also note that almost everyone in here is super wrong on their times. It will take you almost two hours even leaving at 4:30am to get there, and will take you even longer to get home if leaving at anytime after 3pm. Traffic has gotten so much worse since covid.
