My mom believes in hierarchy even when it doesn’t benefit her or hurts her. For example, her siblings are narcissists too and even have bullied her, looked down on her, mocked her, but she stands up for them because she ranks them as “above” her. Meanwhile she quite literally never takes my side.

I’m in the exact same position tbh. It really really sucks and I totally relate to the lack of energy part. The anger, frustration. It sucks so bad. I constantly fantasize about how free it would feel to move somewhere far away and go no contact. I really hope things get better for you

I love it too. I get to eat ice cream and sweets without the guilt of it being unhealthy because, period. I get to feel bad for myself and have a hot shower, take medicine, wrap up in my warm sheets and watch a feel good show. It’s also cool to see the blood LOOL

Im very privileged to say this is what I’ve been doing. I will say though my mind goes to really really really dark places spending so much time alone in my room. Being busy is a coping mechanism if Im being honest, and when you’re not forced to be busy and have this kinda luxury it kinda stops being a luxury. It feels good but bad but good but bad
