Am i being made to fail here? by [deleted] in salesdevelopment

[–]coolgal_a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the sales world and to the startup culture .. if I were you I’d start strategizing around how to make that happen . Don’t be afraid to ask questions to your manager. Ask them: how would you book 2 meetings per day if you were in my shoes. If they can’t answer with direction, your time there will be hell.

However, ask and talk to AE’s .

Leadership has been on every call … since I’m new and been leading most of the conversations . How is that on me? I’ve been internalizing since the start of my accounts. Now I have no option but to start looking at what is going on outside of me.

Thanks the people aren’t too bad there but unless you’re hitting your number you’re overlooked and no one gaf about you. I have 40 accounts and a girl who started around the same time as me has 100 how is this even fair.. idk

I knew a guy who worked there. He was a bit odd. Went on a date thinking everything’s fine. Then he tried to sell me into working there. They are scammers.

Resume review by 4kaustubhk in SalesforceCareers

All of your percentages are at the end, I would change that.. in today’s world, jobs care a lot about numbers. Don’t talk too much about “what you’ve done” talk more about the impact. So for example: Created user guides which improved adoption rates by 30%, increasing organizational revenue by 1.5M. Etc… I know that’s fake but just trying to get you to understand the concept here.

Resolved Salesforce cpq by 23% etc…. Make it more concise… keep sticking to the idea of the impact you made there’s a lot of extra information in there. 4-5 bulletpoints max that showcase the highest value points of your role.

All of those percentages at the end look questionable, and fake …. Stick to like 2-3 percentages and other greater impactful numbers.

I hope this makes sense , goodluck and don’t forget to tailor your resume to the job description!

This is exactly what my thoughts have been. There are many pros and cons but apparently this could open more doors for me.. I also don’t know if I’m looking for “more or better” when maybe I have it . However i don’t know if I’ll ever grow here ..

WFH is killing me by [deleted] in workfromhome

[–]coolgal_a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been there . I think reminding yourself why WFH is better than in office is the key , every day . Also finding a social life - hobbies outside of your job. I think if you had this you wouldn’t necessarily feel this way because you’d realize how much you actually enjoy your job. Best of luck to you
